.S. Chamber Senior Vice President for Europe Marjorie Chorlins issued the following statement following the publication of the EU’s draft data adequacy decision for the United States:
“The Chamber welcomes the announcement that the European Commission has adopted a draft data adequacy decision for the new EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The Data Privacy Framework is a critically important step to ensure our economies remain connected. In the coming months, we encourage the European Commission and the Biden Administration to finalize the remaining steps needed to bring the framework into final effect.”
